1. INTRODUCTION

This Website and the Utsava '26 Events, Workshops, and Shows ("Events") are organized and operated by Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College ("SREC", "we", "our", or "us"). By accessing our Website, registering for any Event, or participating in Utsava '26, you agree to these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, and our Disclaimer Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use this Website or register for any Event.

SREC reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Participants are responsible for reviewing updated Terms regularly.

2. ABOUT UTSAVA '26

Utsava '26 is a National Level Techno-Cultural Fest conducted by SREC. It includes:

  • Technical Events and Workshops
  • Cultural Performances and Competitions
  • Pro-Shows and Concerts
  • Guest Lectures and Flagship Events

Participation in these events is subject to rules and regulations specific to each event, in addition to these general Terms.

3. ELIGIBILITY & REGISTRATION

  • Participants must be 18 years or older to register.
  • Participation is open to students from recognized engineering colleges only.
  • Students from Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College (SREC) are not eligible to register as we are the host college.
  • Valid College ID cards are mandatory for entry into the campus and specific event venues.
  • All personal information provided during registration must be accurate. Any discrepancy may lead to disqualification.
  • Registration is non-transferable unless explicitly permitted by the organizing committee.

4. GENERAL DISCLAIMERS

While we strive to provide a seamless experience, SREC and the Utsava Team do not guarantee that the Website or event schedules will be error-free or uninterrupted.

We shall not be liable for:

  • Changes in event schedules or venues due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • Technical glitches preventing online registration.
  • Loss of personal belongings during the fest.
  • Injury or health issues sustained during the event, though basic first aid will be available.

5. CODE OF CONDUCT

Participants are expected to maintain high standards of discipline and behavior.

  • Strict disciplinary action will be taken against anyone found indulging in misconduct, harassment, or violence.
  • Possession or consumption of alcohol, smoking, or illegal substances is strictly prohibited within the campus.
  • Ragging in any form is a criminal offense and will be dealt with severely.
  • Participants are responsible for any damage caused to SREC property and will be liable for compensation.
  • Participants must not share their login credentials or registration passes with others.
  • Participants must not engage in any fraudulent activities, system abuse, or unauthorized access attempts.

The organizing committee reserves the right to expel any participant for misconduct without refund.

6. PAYMENTS & PAYMENT GATEWAY

All registration fees are to be paid online through the ICICI Bank Payment Gateway or other authorized payment gateways integrated into our Website.

  • Pricing for events, workshops, and passes are subject to change at the discretion of the organizers.
  • We do not store your credit/debit card or banking details. All payment information is processed securely through the ICICI Bank Payment Gateway.
  • In case of payment failure or successful deduction but failed registration, please contact the support team at utsava@srec.ac.in with transaction proof.
  • For payment-related issues, you may also directly contact your bank or the ICICI Bank Payment Gateway support.

7. REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

STRICT NO REFUND POLICY

Once a registration fee is paid for any Event, Workshop, Pro-Show, or General Access Pass ("Passes"), it is non-refundable and non-cancellable under any circumstances.

  • No refunds will be processed for non-participation or "no-shows".
  • No refunds will be provided for accidental double payments (unless verified as a system error by our technical team).
  • In the rare event that a specific workshop or event is cancelled by the organizers, the paid amount may be adjusted against other events or refunded solely at the discretion of the Utsava Management.

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & MEDIA

  • All branding, logos, and content associated with Utsava '26 are the property of SREC.
  • By participating, you grant SREC the right to use photographs, videos, and recordings featuring you for promotional purposes in perpetuity.
  • By registering, you explicitly agree that SREC and the Utsava Team reserve the right to use your personal data (email, phone number, etc.) for internal research, future event notifications, sharing with official partners/sponsors, and other legitimate organizational purposes.

9. ADMISSION RIGHTS

The Utsava Organizing Committee and SREC Management reserve the right of admission. We reserve the right to deny entry or remove anyone from the event premises if they fail to comply with these Terms or security protocols.

10. JURISDICTION

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
